The window and door production chain requires careful attention to all the components that ensure good service, while also saving energy and production. Our first sustainability initiative began in 1994.
It is a good practice that allows us to recover up to 98% of PVC waste.
It's a PVC transformation project by Umbriaplasfor, a company that produces drying racks made from recycled PVC granules. Isolcasa delivers all its processing waste to Umbriaplastfor. This operation creates ECCO, the sustainable drying rack. A fun fact about the name: ECCO is the interjection the owner uses in his everyday speech.

CE CERTIFICATE
The CE marking certifies that the windows and doors produced by Isolcasa comply with Regulation 305/2011/EU (CPR), which regulates construction products in general and specifically with the Italian standard UNI EN14351-1. Each customer is issued a Declaration of Performance certificate—a true identity card—with which they can verify all the performance characteristics of the window and door.
QUALITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The quality control management system certificate, issued by RINA, certifies that Isolcasa's quality control system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Our quality control activities cover all phases of the production process: raw materials, production, and sale of PVC and PVC-aluminum windows and doors, aluminum and wood windows and doors, wood-aluminum windows and doors, interior doors, mosquito nets, counterframes, monoblocks, security doors, overhead doors, and grilles, finished products, shipping, and installation.
ISOLCASA QUALIFIED ANFIT MANUFACTURER
Isolcasa has obtained the Anfit (National Association for the Protection of Made in Italy Windows) Qualified Manufacturer mark: in addition to the minimum parameters required by regulations for CE marking of products, we guarantee that our products meet a series of even more stringent requirements. Compliance with these requirements is assessed through a verification audit, to which Isolcasa is subjected both before obtaining the "ANFIT Quality" mark and subsequently, with periodic inspections.
SOA CERTIFICATION
Isolcasa has obtained SOA certification, making it eligible to participate in public tenders exceeding €150.000, as specified in Presidential Decree 207/2010. SOA certification is issued based on work completed over the last decade and the company's technical and administrative requirements. It is valid for five years, with a review at the end of the third year. The SOA certification was issued based on the company's financial capacity, adequate technical and organizational capabilities, adequate technical equipment, and an adequate average annual workforce.
CASACLIMA QUALITY WINDOW
Isolcasa has obtained the CasaClima Quality Window seal. At Isolcasa, we design and build healthy and comfortable environments, being respectful and responsible, with future generations in mind today. This quality seal certifies to consumers that the windows and doors purchased from Isolcasa are manufactured to a high standard and installed by qualified installers.
NON-TOXICITY OF PVC
Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH's PVC profiles are transformed and processed using systems that achieve superior performance while respecting safety and the environment. The profiles are free of toxic substances and therefore not harmful to health. Directive 2008/544/EC establishes the ecological criteria for awarding an eco-label to interior and exterior paint products and the EPA Environmental Protection Agency.
VOC CERTIFICATION
FOR WHITE PROFILES IN THE MASS TEST REPORT NO. 351375 DATED 04/27/2018 / FOR FOILED PROFILES: TEST REPORT NO. 351376 DATED 04/27/2018 Isolcasa has verified with a third-party certification body that its PVC profiles with in-mass and filmed colors have emissions of volatile organic compounds and VOC emissions below the requirements of the health assessment of construction products. In particular, the following substances were verified: formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, toluene, tetrachloroethylene, isomer xylenes, trimethylbenzene, dichlorobenzene, ethylbenzene, butoxyethanol, styrene.
WINDOWS ACOUSTICALLY TESTED 40 DECIBELS (DB)
FENIX + MONOBLOCK AND INTEGRATED VMC BY ALPAC TEST REPORT NO. 384822/14308/CPR Fenix is a tested window and door system with high acoustic performance, even with a monoblock and VMC. Sound insulation ensures acoustic comfort and improved liveability in rooms. Isolcasa window and French window systems, with the choice of 33.1 internal and external glass panes, are also tested with a low Rw 40 decibel threshold. QUALIFIED SALAMANDER PRODUCER
The Salamander Qualified Manufacturer Quality certificate certifies that Isolcasa has passed the annual audit of accuracy and professionalism, in accordance with the technical guidelines received from the supplier at all stages of the PVC and PVC/aluminium window and door manufacturing process.
EPD- ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION
Isolcasa has completed a life cycle study of FOX from cradle to gate, obtaining EPD certification: 4 kg of CO2 saved per kg of product. It is applied to FOX, FENIX, and KLIMATICO and to all sizes and types of windows.
THERMAL INSULATION
For panels containing EPS insulating material, thermal insulation certifications have been obtained with values from 0,9 W/(m2*K), for 28mm panels, up to values of 0,66 W/(m2*K), for 44mm panels. For panels containing XPS, laboratory tests have obtained higher performance values for thermal insulation with values from 1,40 W/(m2*K), for 24mm panels, up to values of 0,66 W/(m2*K), for 44mm panels. Acoustic insulation certification with reduction Rw(C ; Ctr) = 31 (-1 ; -2) dB according to UNI EN ISO 717-1:2007 Test report no. 38 to 42 of 2012 (Consorzio Legno-Legno)
QM 328 CERTIFICATION
SIEGENIA is Isolcasa's hardware partner. The high-performance hardware is certified for up to 20.000 opening cycles and is rated H3. (Hardware performance on today's market generally does not exceed 15.000 opening cycles.) All performance levels are combined in a single certification: QM 328. The hardware has a silver finish certified for class 5 erosion resistance. The AS 3600 and AS 2600 GENIUS locks are made of stainless steel and are resistant to salt spray, making them particularly suitable for coastal areas. The material is completely recyclable at the end of its useful life.
DOMAL - QUALICOAT PAINTING
Qualicoat is an organization that manages a quality mark for aluminum and its alloys for architectural applications. The purpose of QUALICOAT is to provide practical rules for ensuring the quality of coated aluminum. To achieve this goal, QUALICOAT is committed to: – establishing specifications for the processes, products, and tests to be performed in coating plants; – issuing licenses to coating plants using the quality mark; – monitoring the correct application of the specifications in licensees' coating plants.
DOMAL - SEASIDE PROCESS QUALITY
The quality of our Hydro (Domal by Hydro) production processes is certified: all materials undergo thorough production and laboratory testing, in compliance with the Qualicoat, Qualideco, and Seaside product specifications established by Qualital. Specifically, the Seaside certification certifies compliance with Qualital's specifications for use in highly aggressive environments, especially marine areas.
LEGALITY RATING
Isolcasa has received a legality rating from the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato), an official recognition of the ethical conduct with which Isolcasa conducts its business: proper payers of public administration and private individuals, committed to protecting health and safety in the workplace, and using payment instruments that track cash flows. Isolcasa has obtained: 1 star* + +. (The applicant company receives the base score, equal to one star, if it meets all the requirements set out in Article 2 of the Implementing Regulation regarding the Legality Rating. The base score may be increased by a "+" for each additional requirement the company meets among those set out in Article 3 of the Regulation.)
